Thrive is tomorrow!

THRIVE, Not Just Survive is tomorrow, Wednesday, 2/4/09!

Plan to arrive at 8 am to start networking with your fellow Thrivers. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Terry Clower, University of North Texas, will kick off Thrive with his keynote address at 8:45. At the conclusion of his speech, you can choose between business and individual breakout topics. Want to know about running your business by the numbers? Or how to get to market with your product faster and stronger? Then join us in the business breakout. Thinking about reinventing yourself through a new career? Attend the breakout for individuals and learn about strategies, resources, recession-proof skills, and encore careers.

Thrive is an "eco-friendly" event! Carpool with another attendee. Bring your old cell phones, used batteries, and other items that should not be thrown into our landfills. We will recycle them for you. Bring your trash and help the world THRIVE.

See you Wednesday at Collin College's Conference Center located at our Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75074. For more information, visit http://collinsbdc.com/thrive, or call 972.985.3770.

Share your story of Thrivival

The idea for this special event developed months ago with the entrepreneural business owner and the individual job seeker in mind. Two groups facing an unknown future, yet unwilling to let a sagging economy quell their dreams of success. The concept was to demonstrate how to access opportunities and resources readily available through Collin College.

This event is just the start. In the coming months there will be follow up training sessions, in-depth classes and more opportunities for you to share your story of Thrivival. Whether by running a business by the numbers or finding the career that gives back, now is the time to come learn how to THRIVE
.
